Universal Studios Japan will reopen “Snoopy Sound Stage Adventure™” on Friday, July 18, 2025, an area where guests can immerse themselves in the world of Snoopy and his friends from PEANUTS, which has been loved around the globe by people of all ages with enhanced attractions that fans will not want to miss. In this momentous year marking the 75th anniversary of the PEANUTS comic strip, a charming and imaginative area that can only be experienced at Universal Studios Japan will return.

The PEANUTS comic strip first debuted 75 years ago in seven American newspapers. Since then, it has been published in 2,600 newspapers across the globe and translated into multiple languages, continuing to be loved across generations and borders.
In this milestone year celebrating the 75th anniversary of PEANUTS, Universal Studios Japan is proud to launch a special campaign titled “Super Snoopy Festa”, packed with the charm of Snoopy and his friends.

Enjoy the story of the popular character “Flying Ace”, played by the master of disguise, Snoopy, in “The Flying Snoopy”, an indoor ride attraction that can be enjoyed comfortably regardless of the weather. With a completely new design and storyline, this attraction offers a brand-new experience.
This attraction is a ride coaster that fully immerses you in the world of PEANUTS. Jump into the comic strip with your whole body, ride in the trademark red-roofed doghouse, and experience a thrilling adventure as you race at full speed with the Flying Ace in search of his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron. Ride photos, which are photos of scenes from the attractions cut out and placed in cute photo frames, have also been introduced so that visitors can take them home as souvenirs and Snoopy’s™ Backlot Cafe will offer special souvenir mugs to celebrate the anniversary of the comic series. The mugs are yours to take home, so you can enjoy the special food experience and memories of “The Flying Snoopy” at home.

Universal Studios Japan is currently hosting the “Super Snoopy Festival” in celebration of the 75th anniversary of PEANUTS. In the Snoopy Area, we will be distributing special limited-edition “Super Snoopy” stickers.
Three designs will be available. These original stickers are just like invitation tickets to the area commemorating the enhancement of Snoopy’s studio. Stickers featuring memorable quotes from PEANUTS comics that will touch your heart will be available in different designs during the distribution period. Come visit us many times to collect them all!

This year, which marks the 75th anniversary of the PEANUTS comic strip, the Park will hold a “Snoopy Stamp Collection Tour” event connecting facilities related to PEANUTS and Universal Studios Japan starting on Snoopy’s birthday, Sunday August 10th, 2025. Each facility will distribute a special stamp collection sheet only available this year. Different stamps will be available at each PEANUTS facility. Bring your “Stamp Collection Sheet” and visit all the facilities where PEANUTS fans gather from across Japan to experience each facility and collect them all.
