Universal Studios Japan is expanding MINION PARK, an area themed to Illumination’s Minions, which are popular among a wide range of people both in Japan and overseas, to further enhance the fun and "hachamecha” experience. The grand opening of the area will be Friday, July 11, 2025.
In addition to the existing popular attractions in “MINION PARK” such as “Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem” and “Freeze Ray Sliders”, the new “Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast”, which the park's first ever moving walkway*-style shooting attraction where guests can blast and test their skills with E-Liminator X blaster will debut as an attraction guests of all ages can enjoy. You will join illumination’s Minions at Villain-Con and encounter Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed and the rest of the Vicious 6 as you compete to become the newest member of their supervillain group.
Additionally, there will be a number of new entertainment elements including snack stands and stores
offering unique food and merchandise developed with mayhem in mind, as well as Minions dressed in all-new costumes, to create an unprecedented experience at the expanded MINION PARK.

The new area will feature two new establishments: “Evil Eats” featuring themed snacks and “Evil Stuff” offering the best in villainous merchandise.

ndulge your guilty pleasures at “Evil Eats,” the dastardly concession stand at Villain-Con. The “Donut Burger for Villains: BBQ Pork & Bacon” , once you try shop’s signature item, you'll be hooked! A burger with plenty of pork, bacon, and cheddar cheese sandwiched between sweet doughnuts, topped with chocolate featuring the “Villain-Con” logo, this new menu item is outrageous in both appearance and taste.

Evil Minion Donut Blueberry
If you want a dastardly sweet treat, you'll definitely want to try the “Minion Donut: Banana Cream”, and the “Evil Minion Donut: Blueberry”. Indulge yourself and become a villain with these treats full of mayhem.
Become a super villain with items from the new shop, “Evil Stuff”!
Be sure to stop by “Evil Stuff” for all your Minion and Villain-Con essentials. The E-Liminator X Blaster lets you relive the exhilarating blaster-shooting action of the new attraction, “Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast” at home. In addition to light and sound, visuals are projected onto targeted areas in dark spaces, allowing both children and adults to embrace their inner “villain”!
The shop features “Minions” goods that are full of mayhem, such as headbands lined with Minion faces dressed as villains from movies, and stuffed plush featuring Tim dressed as a villain with patches on his overalls. Also be sure to check out the super cool T-shirts featuring the super villain group “Vicious 6”.

The Minions have arrived at the new area for the newly launched “Villain-Con”! Join the Minions in their villain cosplay and Villain-Con outfits for a special meet and greet outside the big event.

The first moving walkway interactive blaster attraction in the Park's history debuts at Universal Studios Japan's MINION PARK, offering an exciting evolution of the popular Orlando attraction – now featuring new, exclusive content and enhanced gameplay features.
Join illumination’s Minions at Villain-Con and encounter Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed and the rest of the Vicious 6 as you compete to become the newest member of their supervillain group.
