For the second consecutive year, Universal Studios Japan will collaborate with the Masquerade series by acclaimed mystery author Keigo Higashino. The popular participatory real-life mystery show Peril at the Masquerade returns in 2026. The accompanying buffet will debut a refreshed menu featuring dishes inspired by the spirit of Venice.

Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant
Shinichi and Ran make an appearance! Experience a thrilling new blend of mystery, dining, and live music.
The ever-popular entertainment restaurant is evolving once again, adding authentic live vocals to its signature mystery and dining experience. It’s a new form of entertainment where mystery, gourmet cuisine, and live music come together.
Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri arrive at an upscale restaurant famed for its live performances. As Guests enjoy a diva’s singing, they become caught up in a crime unfolding right before their eyes and must work together with Shinichi and Ran to uncover the truth. Created by Gege Akutami, JUJUTSU KAISEN is a hit manga series that tells the story of the fierce struggle between curses born of human negativity and the Jujutsu Sorcerers who exorcise them. Story
You are invited as a guest to the “Masquerade Party”, a murder mystery event held at the Hotel Cortesia…
The party was supposed to start with a spectacular opening with gorgeous illusions. However, suspicious images are suddenly projected onto the screen at the banquet hall, and the existence of “death threats” come to light.
Amidst the commotion at the party, Nitta, a detective working undercover as a hotelier, proposes a new murder mystery game to find out who is hiding at the party and stop the murder before it happens.

About the Masquerade Series
Volume 1: “Masquerade Hotel”
A mysterious series of murders in Tokyo. Neither the suspect nor the target is known. All that is known from the code left behind is that the next crime is to be committed at the prestigious Hotel Cortesia Tokyo. A young detective, Kosuke Nitta, is ordered to work undercover, disguised as a hotelier. He is trained by a female front desk clerk, Naomi Yamagishi. With one suspicious visitor after another, will the two be able to get to the bottom of the case? The first in a very popular series of million-seller books.

Hunt for clues and track down monsters! This special AR quest is already a fan favorite!
An AR stamp rally that anyone can easily join using their smartphone, this special survey quest turns Guests into investigators searching for Monster Hunter creatures that have wandered into the Park. Scan the QR code at the starting point to begin the investigation.
Guided by messages from your Palico and the investigation log, explore the Park to track creatures that have jumped out of the game world, such as the Large Recovery Beetle. Successfully observing their ecology completes your survey and earns special reward items.
As the quest continues, you may uncover traces left by large creatures and participate in emergency missions where you can witness rare large monsters up close. Upon completing all survey objectives,
