 Since Universal Studios Japan’s opening on March 31, 2001, the park has continued to evolve with new amazing attractions and blockbuster entertainment. 2021 will mark the 20th anniversary of Universal Studios Japan which will be a celebratory year filled with limitless fun and epic adventures.

 Universal Studios Japan will deliver a variety of “NO LIMIT!” entertainment and invigorating experiences throughout the festive year where guests will “Get Energized with Endless Thrills and Excitement”. It will kick off its year-long 20th anniversary celebration with the opening of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD in early 2021, where guests can experience “Asobi”.

 Guests will feel “NO LIMIT!”, CHO-GENKI while enjoying Universal Studios Japan's entertainment developed with unlimited creativity. It will continue to offer entertainment where guests can live in the moment, let loose and enjoy a full range of emotions that can’t be experienced anywhere else.

 The health and safety of our guests and team members have been and will continuously be our top priority at Universal Studios Japan and we are taking thorough sanitation enhancement measures in accordance with the “Novel Coronavirus Spread Prevention Guideline for Theme Parks and Amusement Parks'' announced by the central Government and taking advices from health care authorities and medical experts. We will keep providing the world's best theme park where our guests could safely enjoy the entertainment throughout the day under the new lifestyles. We will continuously pursue to keep energizing our guests’ daily lives and we hope to contribute to society through such works.

In addition, Super Nintendo World, a new area where you can enjoy entertainment based on world-renowned Nintendo characters and their worlds, is scheduled to open in early 2021.
