Building a Barrier Free Park

Various initiatives are undertaken at Universal Studios Japan to create a barrier free environment including attractions which can be experienced while in a wheelchair.
Universal Studios Japan offers guests with physical disabilities space at certain attractions including JAWS, Yoshi’s Adventure™, and Big Bird’s Big Top Circus, to experience them while in wheelchairs.
Other provisions include “subtitle viewing glasses” for the hearing impaired, “support stickers”, and “tactile maps” of locations and features of facilities in the park.
Also, all restaurants and shops in the park are accessible for assistance dogs (guide dogs for the blind or mobility service dogs for those with physical disabilities).
We want each and every guest who visits Universal Studios Japan to fully enjoy the park and be Super Energized. We will continue to work to build a park accessible to all people regardless of their differences.
