Career Education for High School Students & University Lectures

USJ, in cooperation with Osaka Prefecture supports the development of future human resources of the region through career programs for high school students and lecture series at universities.

In collaboration with the Osaka Prefecture Department of Education, USJ, as part of new initiatives contributing to the welfare of children in the local community, held the “High School Student Career Program 2023 Summer” for the first time during the summer holidays beginning on July 16^th with approximately 100 students taking part.

This initiative was made possible because of the variety of jobs at USJ, from operating ride attractions to food, beverage, and merchandise sales at the park, offering a wide range of opportunities for the students to consider their future careers.
The park also welcomes many guests from around the world and while the students work as crew, they are exposed to “living English”, giving them a chance to earn experience that can be used in their future language studies.

Additionally, as part of regional revitalization and improving the services available to residents through education and revitalization of the tourism industry, through the Comprehensive Collaboration Agreement with Osaka Prefecture USJ holds a year-long course on “USJ Style Tourism Marketing Studies” at the Osaka Metropolitan University. Our hope is that this course will convey the practical learning of our real-world business know-how and promote the development of the tourism industry by training the future leaders of the tourism industry.

We wholeheartedly believe that "without the development of the local community, our business will not develop," and we wish to support the growth of children who are the resources who will support the community in the future. We will continue our "Super Energetic" social contribution activities to revitalize our hometown of Osaka.
