Notes on Experiencing Halloween Horror Nights
Halloween Horror Nights contains mature subject matter which is not recommended for children ages 5 or under. Due to the intense nature of this experience, parental discretion is advised for children ages 12 or under. We do not assume responsibility for any injuries or damages related to operation content, show content, or performance effects.
For your safety, please abide by the following rules during Halloween Horror Nights:
- Please refrain from exaggerated reactions. In addition, guests who engage in violence or other disruptive behavior, such as startling zombies, crew members, or other guests, will be asked to leave the park.
- No running in the park, including inside facilities. In addition, please be aware of your surroundings to avoid bumping into other guests.
- Please wear sneakers or other shoes that can help you avoid injury. Wearing sandals, mules, or other open footwear during the experience is dangerous.
- Please refrain from entering areas other than Guest areas, as this may lead to unexpected problems.
- Halloween Horror Nights attracts a large number of guests. Performances take place on the street, so please store strollers and other large items in advance.
- Please refer to Rules & Manners for more information about rules and manners in the park.
Wearing Costumes in Universal Wonderland and Minion Park
You may not enter Universal Wonderland, Minion Park, or the vicinity of these areas dressed in attire or wearing cosmetics that may frighten other Guests (especially children), including zombie, ghost, or other costumes, or headgear, face paint, or prosthetic makeup (including makeup that conceals a part of the face, like the eyes, nose, or mouth) that obscure the face.
Wearing Costumes in the Park
For the safety and security of all Guests visiting the Park, if we find Guests who are violating any of the following prohibitions, we may refuse to admit them or take measures to have them leave the Park.
For safety reasons, the crew may also ask you to remove some of your attire, accessories, or cosmetics (makeup, face paint, or prosthetic makeup) after you have entered the Park.
Please be aware that Guests may not be admitted to some attractions depending on their costumes.
The following are prohibited. Crew members at the Park will determine whether you are in violation of any of the points below.
- Attire or cosmetics that make it difficult to identify an individual's actual face or physique, thereby interfering with Park security in the event of an emergency
- Excessively applied makeup, face paint, or prosthetic makeup
- Face paint or prosthetic makeup applied over the entire face, headgear that covers the entire face, full-face masks or other masks that hide more than half of the face (excluding those necessary for medical reasons), costume masks, and helmets (of any shape)
- Attire that may offend or frighten other Guests
- Attire that may disrupt public order in the Park (including clothing that exposes an excessive amount of skin, revealing clothing deemed unfit for the Park, underwear that is visible, or clothing that appears to be underwear), or attire that violates obscenity laws or other laws
- Excessively grotesque attire or makeup
- Wearing zombie, ghost, or other costumes, headgear, face paint, or prosthetic makeup (including makeup that conceals a part of the face, like the eyes, nose, or mouth) that obscure the face in Universal Wonderland, Minion Park, or the vicinity of these areas
- Attire that has the possibility of inciting trouble that affects Park security
- Attire and accessories that may pose a danger to other guests or crew members
- Makeup that could stick to other Guests, crew members, or Park facilities
- Attire or behavior imitating a Park crew member or entertainer
- Behaving dangerously in ways that hinder the operation of attractions and shows, frightening other Guests, or otherwise acting in a disruptive manner
- Photography or filming that may be disruptive to other Guests, occupying an operational space for a long period of time, changing costumes inside restrooms, or applying makeup in a way that blocks mirrors

We ask for your cooperation to ensure that all Guests can enter the Park smoothly and enjoy the Park safely.

Changing Rooms
Crew members may enter the changing rooms to patrol and sanitize them.

Hours: Same as Park operation hours
Note: Please refrain from using Park restrooms to change into costumes or occupy the space in front of the mirrors to apply costume makeup, as that may inconvenience other Guests.
