Pricing for Studio Passes to Change
Jun. 30, 2026 [Notice]
So that we can re-evaluate and adjust daily prices based on demand, Universal Studios Japan has decided to change the pricing system for Studio Passes (park admission tickets), beginning with tickets sold on July 1, 2026, for park admissions from September 1, 2026.
In addition to enhancing the value of guest experiences, this change aims to improve the efficiency of park operations.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I purchase a pass to get the best deal?
Prices may increase, so we recommend purchasing your tickets as early as possible.
I’ve already purchased a ticket. The prices of tickets for my planned visit date have changed since I made my purchase. Will I still be able to use my ticket?
No additional payment will be required for tickets that have already been purchased.
Do the price changes only apply to admission tickets?
Will the prices of Universal Express Passes and other tickets change?
This change applies only to park admission tickets excluding Annual Passes. Since the prices of Universal Express Passes were set in 2018 using a similar pricing system, we have no plans to change them at this time.
How will Annual Pass upgrades be affected?
Annual Passes may be upgraded only on the day of park admission by paying the difference between the price paid when purchased and the new price. For the price difference, please check at the time of upgrade.
Can I change the date or cancel my admission ticket?
Dates can be changed if the ticket has not been used and certain conditions are met.
Once purchased, tickets cannot be canceled unless there are legally recognized grounds for cancellation or invalidation.
Will this affect prices for children and seniors?
Yes. Prices for children and seniors will also be subject to change.
