Heat Stroke Prevention
Jun. 1, 2026 [Notice]
Rehydrate Often
- Even if you don't feel thirsty, it is important to maintain regular intake of water and sodium from sports drinks or other sources.
- Ideally, you should drink a glass of water every hour. Do not forget to replenish sodium after sweating heavily.
- Water is available at restaurants, vending machines, and most carts.
Utilize Cool Clothing and Merchandise
- We recommend wearing light clothing and a hat.
- Clothing that is breathable, absorbs water, and dries quickly will prevent your body temperature from rising. Also effective are cold towels or other cooling products.
- Hats and other merchandise items that help prevent heat stroke are available at stores in the park.
- Please take frequent breaks and use shade.
- We also recommend cooling down in indoor places such as stores and restaurants. Use mist and shade to cool down frequently.
Act Immediately If You Suspect Heat Stroke
- Take shelter in a cool place such as an air-conditioned room or somewhere in the shade with good air circulation.
- Loosen your clothing to let plenty of air pass through.
- If you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, numbness in your hands or feet, headache, or nausea, please speak to a nearby crew member immediately.
- Please be mindful of your child's body temperature. Have them drink fluids frequently, even if they do not feel thirsty.
- If you suspect you are experiencing heat stroke, please visit First Aid (the park's medical room) immediately.
