To make summer at the park safer and more comfortable, Universal Studios Japan is building on last year’s efforts to further enhance its heatstroke prevention measures.
This summer, the 25th anniversary parade will be held in the evening to provide a more comfortable viewing experience.
Also in the cooler hours, the park will offer a wide variety of nighttime entertainment that enhance this year’s summer festival theme.
To keep our guests smiling, we’re stepping up our cooling measures even further by bringing back last year’s popular "Cool Splash Time," where water splashes onto guests from every direction, as well as adding a new rest area called the Cooldown Station.
Cooling features throughout the park help you beat the daytime heat.
Cool Splash Time: 25th Anniversary Version
Get soaked at Cool Splash Time: 25th Anniversary Version!
In this event, tons of water splashes onto you from all directions, and this year, it’s even wilder and wetter! Get soaked and dance to Vaundy’s “Destiny Journeys” and other anniversary songs!
Event Hours
- First Show: 11:00 a.m.
- Second Show: 1:00 p.m.
- Third Show: 3:00 p.m.
(approx. 7 minutes per session)
Cool Green Street
There's a brand-new Cool Green Street at the park!
Along this refreshingly cool street, mist spreads in, forming a fog that wraps around your feet and cools you down simply by walking through!
Event Time: From Park opening time to 6:00 p.m.
The 25th anniversary parade in the cooler evening
During the summer, the 25th anniversary NO LIMIT! Parade: Discover U!!! Version will be presented in the early evening. Because the sunlight won't be so intense, you'll be able to enjoy the parade more comfortably.
Applicable Period: Jun. 29 to Sept. 8, 2026
Event Time: 4:15 p.m. (parade duration about 40 minutes)

From the exciting main show that will drench you in music, water, and foam to street performances and festival-style food carts, the park is packed with festive nighttime entertainment and you can enjoy it all in the cooler evening!
More water to get even more soaked at popular attractions
At Jurassic Park - The Ride and WaterWorld, the park’s two most soaking-wet attractions, the water levels will be increased even further for the summer only! You can "Discover U!!!" at the park’s 25th anniversary by getting more drenched than ever before!

- Water volume will not be increased for JAWS.
- Jurassic Park - The Ride will be temporarily closed from June 24 to July 7, 2026. Thank you for your understanding.
