King Gnu
Daiki Tsuneta, Yu Seki, Kazuki Arai, and Satoru Iguchi make up this 4-member Japanese band. King Gnu has earned widespread acclaim for a signature sound that fuses alternative music with a unique pop sensibility, alongside a wide-ranging body of work. Across music, artwork, video, and live performance, the band has built a one-of-a-kind world all its own.
They made their major-label debut in January 2019 with the album Sympa, followed in February by Hakujitsu, which became a smash hit.
Their 2020 album CEREMONY sold over 500,000 copies, establishing them as one of Japan's leading rock bands. "SPECIALZ," the opening theme for the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident, became another massive hit, passing 100 million streams in just two and a half months after release.
With the release of their 2023 album THE GREATEST UNKNOWN, the band launched a five-dome tour across Japan, followed by an Asia tour covering four cities and seven shows, drawing a total of 400,000 fans. In February 2026, they launched the King Gnu CEN+RAL Tour 2026, visiting more cities than any tour in the band's history.
