What is Thanks Love Month?
In an era when lifestyles, family structures and expressions of gratitude are becoming more diverse,
Universal Studios Japan has been promoting its new Thanks Love Month initiative.
This month-long period is an opportunity for us to express feelings of gratitude, admiration,
and appreciation not only for our parents, but also our partners, friends, colleagues,
and all of the other special people in our lives.

"We have days like Mother's Day and Father's Day to show how thankful we are for our parents.
But parents aren't the only people that deserve a day of gratitude.
That's why Universal Studios Japan decided to establish a month of gratitude for all the special people in our lives.

A Gift of Thanks: Thanks Love Month
Too shy to express your gratitude in words? This show will make you want to speak from the heart! Join the park friends in a fun dance and express your “thanks” in time to the music!

You'll want to tell someone "Thank You!" when you experience this special meet-up presented during this event only.
The Park friends will give you an encouraging push to express your feelings.

Express your thankful feelings to your loved ones with a special sticker.
Put it wherever you like as soon as you get one from the crew!
Crew members may give you a shout-out, and the Park friends may react with some cute action!

A message card that makes it easy and natural to express your feelings of gratitude.

Be on the lookout for crew members with photo props you can use!
Take a keepsake photo while holding a cute photo prop to express your appreciation to your loved ones.

A playlist of music themed to "thanks" will be available during the event period!

Initiatives outside of
the park
A one of a kind flower blooms with your words of Thanks! “The Flower Shop That Blooms with ‘Thank You’”
Participants stand in front of the special machine called the “Thanks Flower Planter” and speak words of gratitude to their loved ones. Participants will receive a set of two “Thanks Love Month 2026” limited-edition flower cards right then and there. One card will be given as a gift to a loved one, and the other will be displayed on a giant board inside the venue. Enjoy watching as each participant’s “thank you” comes together, transforming the entire venue into a vibrant flower shop of gratitude.
When scanning the QR code on the card with your smartphone, a flower with the same design will appear on your screen, and you can download the image. You can also share it on various social media platforms, allowing you to convey your heartfelt “thank you” and send a message of gratitude to loved ones you can’t meet in person.

This year’s Thanks Love Month will expand the circle of “Thank You” with various companies!
“Thanks Love Month” Flower Lighting Show at OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts
OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts—an official Universal Studios Japan Alliance Hotel—will host a special lighting show using the hotel’s exterior wall as a large-scale projection screen. Inspired by the theme of “Thanks Love Month,” the show features stunning visual effects that bring giant flowers into bloom across the building façade.
Surrounded by radiant flowers lighting up the hotel exterior, guests are invited to share heartfelt words of “thank you” with someone special, creating a truly moving and memorable moment.

Partner hotels will offer special events for this occasion, where guests will be able to say "Thank You" to people special to them.
“Thanks Love Month” digital signage will appear in the hotel only at this time to provide a place to express your gratitude to your loved ones! Additionally, specially designed "Thanks Love Cards" will be distributed at partner hotels. These special cards will encourage guests using partner hotels to express their gratitude to each other.
